Description:You can find this perennial plant in woods and hedgerows, especially on limestone and clay.
Male and female flowers grow on separate plants, with flowers from February to April.
This plant can grow to a height of up to 40cm.
This example was collected at Onecote in Staffordshire by local naturalist Eric Edees in 1947.
