Description:This extremely variable shrub has over 60 known varieties.

You can find it growing in woods, scrub and hedgerows.

Flowering in pink and white between June and July, and bearing fruit from August to November, it can grow to a height of 3 metres.

This example was collected at Yoxall in Staffordshire by local naturalist Eric Edees in 1966.
