Description:You will find this biennial or perennial plant growing in Staffordshire's woods and hedgerows.
Flowering between May and November, it can reach a height of 80cm.
This example was found growing in a sycamore wood behind Butterton church in Staffordshire during June 1946, by local naturalist Eric Edees.
He reported that the flowers were "deep rose red" and strongly scented.
