Description:You can spot this perennial plant living in lakes, canals, rivers and ponds, where its leaves float on the surface.
Flowering between June and August, it can grow up to 10cm in height.
This example was found growing near Armitage in Staffordshire, by local naturalist Henry P. Reader in 1919.
