Description:Mouldmaker's palette.

A rubber smoothing and shaping tool, sometimes known as a kidney.

Roughly 10cm in length.

Used in the production of plaster moulds for pottery making.

This tool belonged to a mouldmaker named Mr Juggins who worked between 1930 and 1973.
