Description:Knitting needle made of plastic coated metal.

It was possibly used as a fettling tool to smooth out any surface blemishes on the clay before drying and firing.

Roughly 18cm in length.

Taken from the Gladstone Pottery Museum Tools Collection.

This object is now part of the collections at Stoke-on-Trent Museums.
