Description:Copper plate engraving with a small hole punched at either end.
The plate is engraved on both sides and is around 10cm long.
This side shows engravings of young girls.
It was cut from a larger plate and used by the engraver to test gravers and punches.
The plate bears the intials HM, as it once belonged to local engraver, Mr Harry S Millward of Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire.
