Description:A selection of rubber gilding stamps.

Used to apply gold decoration to glazed pottery.

They are all unused apart from one, which is mounted on a handle.

These stamps came in an envelope marked;

The stamps were made for John H Aynsley (Commerce Street), Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

Taken from the Gladstone Pottery Museum Tools Collection.

These objects are now part of the collections at Stoke-on-Trent Museums.
