Description:Pottery factory interior showing a worker printing a pattern onto ware using a Murray Curvex printing machine. The flexible dome is pressed onto an inked copper plate. The engraved pattern is transfered onto the dome in wet ink. The dome is then pressed onto ware, leaving the pattern on its surface. Taken from the Gladstone Pottery Museum Photographic Collection. This photograph is part of the collections at Stoke-on-Trent Museums.
