Description:Landscape overlooking the River Wye and the Monsal Dale Viaduct, Nr. Bakewell, Derbyshire.

The viaduct was built in the 1860s and carried passengers on the Midland Railway until 1968.

This area falls within the Peak District National Park, who purchased the track in 1980 and incorporated it into an 8 mile footpath called the Monsal Trail.
