Description:Lantern slide containing a view of the River Alt estuary and a lighthouse, near as Hightown, which is in Merseyside.

William Blake grew up and learnyt photography in Formby, Lancashire, only a few miles away from Hightown.

From a collection of glass slides and negatives formerly belonging to photographer William Blake of Longton.
