Description:Outdoor portrait of a lady in formal dress posing amongst blossom.

The woman is named Jeannie. She is the subject of other photographs in the collection. Jeannie is Jane Amelia Merriman who was born 16 September 1882 in Hanley. In 1911 she was living with her brother at 341 Waterloo Road, Hanley and was employed as a milliner. In the same year she married Charles Augustus Leach. She died on 2 September 1940 by which time she was living at 224 Leason Road, Stoke on Trent.
