Description:Portrait of two women named Mrs Walter and Jeannie sitting in front of buildings and a chimney stack at Stanley, near Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. They are dressed formally, as if on a special day out. Portraits of Jeannie feature elsewhere in the collection. Jeannie is Jane Leach (nee Merriman), who died 2 September 1940.
