Date:1960

Description:This house was situated in Easters Road in the village of Milton, close to Leek Road. This house was demolished in 1960 to make way for modern housing, which now occupies the site.
This method of building was cheap, strong and utilised solid oak beams to support the entire weight of the structure. The downside of this design was that space was limited due to arch of the beams, especially on the upper floors.
