Description:This photograph was taken from just outside the Methodist Chapel on Fenpark Road, looking east towards Pool Dole. In the far distance is the spoil tip of Mossfield Colliery. The white building in the middle of the photograph is the old Pool Dole Inn (now rebuilt), standing on the corner of Hulse Street. Hulse Street has similarly been rebuilt and the right hand side of Fenpark Road is now lined with houses. Many of the houses on then left hand side still stand.
