To the right are the chimneys and winding gear of Glebe Colliery and Brickworks, now part of Glebedale Park. In the middle foreground are roofs of Fenton Station buildings. Running up the centre is Station Road (now Glebedale Road).

Towards the left of the photograph on the sky line is the Court House on Gimson Street. Right in the centre is the top of Berry Hill brickworks and colliery spoil tip.
