Description:A view south along Fielding Street from the Nicholls Street corner. The terraced houses in this street and the neighbouring Birks Street and Lime Street were built at the end of the nineteenth and beginning of the twentieth centuries.

At the far end of the street are the industrial buildings on Boothen Old Road. Just beyond the first house on the right is the entry to the back alley which ran between Fielding Street and Birks Street.
