Description:The camera is looking west along what was Market Street towards Victoria Square in Fenton. Market Street, with some modification, has become King Street. The properties on both sides of the road have been demolished. In the distance are the two gable ends of the Glebe junior and infants' school, again demolished, which stood close to Victoria Place.

In the gap between the houses and shops on the right hand side stood Joseph Gimson's, stilt and spur manufacturers to the ceramics industry.
