Description:This photograph was taken looking north east across Fenton Manor Farm from the Biddulph and Leek branch railway line. the tip in the distance belonged to Berry Hill Colliery and Brickworks. Behind the trees lay the Manor House and farm, later top become the site of Stoke on Tent Sixth Form College in the late sixties. To the left of the photograph was a clay pit, later to be part of Fenton landfill scheme.
