Description:This was the view from the corner of City road and Glebedale Road (previously Station Road) towards the junction at Victoria Square in Fenton in the 1960s. On the right is the entrance to Fenton Vicarage, demolished and now a NHS centre. The row of terraced houses on the left dates from before the 1880s and at the time of the photograph were earmarked for demolition. The land is now occupied by a timber and builder's merchant. In the centre, just beyond Victoria Place are the buildings of Glebe junior and infants' schools.
