Date:November 1962

Description:An elevated view over Adderley Floral China and the Rosina China Works on Sutherland Road. The photograph was probably taken from the Bluebell Pottery on Barker Street, on the higher ground to the south of Sutherland Road. Behind is the spoil tip of Park Hall Colliery and in the distance to the left, the open land of what is now Park Hall Country Park. The Stoke to derby railway line runs cross the photograph, hidden behind the works buildings. This Colliery site has been reclaimed and now forms an area of housing centred on Forrister Street.
