Description:This photograph was taken from the end of Hyndley close looking east towards Willeton Street and Malthouse Lane. In the foreground are twop rows of back to back council built garages, erected in the 1950s. Behind are the buildings of Bucknall County Secondary School on Malthouse Lane.

The garages and school buildings, which dated from the 1880s, have been demolished and replaced with housing.
