Date:August 1964

Description:Looking east along Oliver Road from just off Hilton Road. In the background are the recent buildings of St Peter's School, which was on Queen's Road in Penkhull. The school closed in 2011 and lay empty until 2021, when building by Lioncourt housing began. The adjacent site, formally the British Ceramic Research Association, is now occupied by Lucideon, a materials technology company.

The houses date from the 1950s. Parked in the centre is a late 1950s Bedford CA van.
