Description:The camera is looking roughly north east from Lane Ends Farm at the end of Handley Street, near Packmoor. The spoil tip on the right belonged to Victoria (Black Bull) Colliery. The colliery operated between 1850 and 1982. The colliery and spoil tip is now the Victoria Business Park. Bert Bentley states that the farm was used to house prisoners of Bonnie Prince Charlie on his march to Leek in 1745. The pattern of houses is much changed with modern houses lining Handley Street
