Description:A view west along Chamberlain Avenue from its junction with London Road, Boothen. The tree-lined road climbs steeply up to Hunters Way. The houses on the left beyond the Assembly Hall were built between 1900 and 1924, the rest of the houses up to Hunters Way being completed by 1937. Behind the advertising hoardings is the car park and entrance to the London Road Sports and Social Club and beyond a church assembly hall.
