Description:The photograph shows the front of Harpfields Infants School on Hartshill Road. The building stood on the corner of Hartshill Road and Palmers Green. Harpfields County Infants School opened in 1872. It used some of the buildings of the former infants department of Harpfields Council School. It was originally part of Harpfields County Junior School but became a separate school in 1932. The buildings have been demolished, and the site is now part of the Harpfield Primary School.
