Description:Pearlware printed teacups transfer printed with 'Wonchester Colleg' design. Height of red printed cup 65mm. Winchester College is a boy's private school founded by William of Wykeham in the 14th century. Wykeham was Bishop of Winchester from 1367 to 1404. The teacups were excavated at St. Paul's Church, Burslem in 1974.
