Date:November 1963

Description:A view north east from the top of Hot Lane with the spoil tip belonging to Sneyd Colliery and Brickworks on the right. Crossing the road is the cable of the aerial ropeway which connected the colliery (to the left) with the spoil tip. Just visible beyond the bridge is a second aerial ropeway. The bridge also carried spoil. Immediately to the left behind the wire fence is a smaller waste tip, now an industrial estate. The area to the right has been landscaped and is now part of Sneyd Hill Park.

The building on the right is a garage, Sandbach Road Service Station. Just beyond and before the cableway, is the junction with Sandbach Road on the right.
