Description:Landscape taken at Manifold Valley, Staffordshire.

The photograph includes the Manifold Valley Railway and a packed passenger train travelling through the valley. The line closed in 1934, and the track was lifted in 1937.

The landmark known as Beeston Tor can be seen in the background. This area is now part of the Peak District National Park.
