Date:August 1964

Description:Looking northwards along Water Street towards the junction with Fletcher Road (to the right) and All Saints Road (to the left). Fletcher Road continues off to the left, from where the photograph was taken. The right hand side of Water Street had houses by 1900, the left hand side was open ground. Fletcher Road and All Saints Road had been laid out by 1924, and the open ground filled in by the late 1930s.
