Description:The corrugated iron chapel was in Foley Street, on the corner of Packett Street. The camera is looking north along Foley Street.

The Swedenborgian or New Church movement started in the United Kingdom in 1787. This chapel dates from 1926, but ceased to serve as a church in 1931. The surrounding houses and corner shop still stand although the chapel has been demolished.
