Description:E Wainwright & Sons were printers, bookbinders and stationers on Old Whieldon Road near Stoke Basin. Their factory was on the corner of Kerr Street (previously known as Talbot Street) and Old Whieldon Road. This corner has been cleared and today lies below industrial buildings and warehouses. The factory was, from the 1930s, a public house, The Bird in Hand Inn.
