Description:This photograph was taken from the corner of Lloyd Street and Warren Street looking north towards St James' church tower. The houses on the left edge are in Beaufort Road. The cluster of bottle ovens belong to the Enson Pottery Works on Short Street, off Normacot Road. Most of the land in the foreground has been cleared and J & A Wild's works demolished.
