Date:August 1963

Description:Longton Road (A5035) before it was widened, the view from close to New Inn Road. The camera is looking west towards the junction with Stone Road (A34) in Ash Green. On the horizon is the stand of trees known as Seven Sisters ( or Elephant Clump) in Trentham Gardens. On the left the trees mark the edge of Trentham Golf Club and the white cottages on the right still stand with some alterations.
