Date:August 1964

Description:The church is on Stone Road (A34), close to the Hanford A500 flyover. A church, dedicated to St. Teresa, was opened on this site in 1928 around the same time as the Michelin Tyre Company's factory, which is just behind and the church served the needs of many of the workers brought over from France by the tyre company. Michelin continued to own the church until the early 1950s when it passed into the archdiocese of Birmingham.

The red brick building was extended in 1956. The associated Primary School, opened in 1937, is just across Stone Road.
