Description:Parkfield House stands on the corner of Prince's Road and Yoxall Avenue. This house was the first villa built on Prince's Road, in 1860-61. Prince's Road was planned in the late 1850s to link Penkhull with Hartshill as part of the development of The Mount estate. It later became part of the Beth Johnson Foundation. The Mount estate was bought from the Spode family by Frederick Bishop in 1856.
