Description:The camera is looking westwards along Etruria Road before the dual carriageway (A53) was built. This is the line of Etruria Old Road. On the right is the front of Wedgwood's Etruria works with the lanthorn or bell tower clearly visible. Behind are the few remains of the ovens and workshops left after the factory moved to Barlaston. Just to the left of the works, the road rises to pass over the Trent & Mersey Canal. Just over the bridge are the roofs of cottages along Etruria Road and the Bridge Inn, all now demolished. The land on the right behind the stone wall is now the site of Festival Park Marina.
