Description:Looking north along the course of the Fowlea Brook in Etruria. Off to the right are the furnaces of Shelton Steel Works and in the haze to the left, the winding towers of Wolstanton Colliery. The railway signal post in the left centre was on the Potteries Loop Line. This photograph was taken very close to the junction with the main line at Etruria Station. The 6 mile long brook flows into the River Trent in Stoke.
