Description:Wenger's Ceramic Colour and Chemical works offices seen from outside the entrance to Etruria Station. The old Etruria Road runs across the bottom of the photograph with the railway bridge in the centre. the man on the bicycle is just about to begin the sharp ascent of Basford Bank.

The company was at these works from around 1900 until it ceased trading in 1984. Wenger's manufactured a range of colours, glazes and enamels for the ceramic. glass and metal industries.
