Description:Part of the Ellgreave Pottery in the Dalehall area of Middleport seen from Ellgreave Street. This part of the factory has been demolished and the land used for housing (Heyburn Crescent). On the extreme left is the edge of the terraced houses on Ellgreave Street.

Ellgreave Pottery was part of Wood & Sons and produced a variety of jugs, teapots, kitchen ware and animals. Charlotte Rhead designed "Lottie Rhead Ware" for the works in the 1920s. Part of the works still stands, but with a different use.
