Description:The grade II listed building on the corner of Furlong Parade and Newcastle Street was built in the early 1830s for the Riley family of potters who built the Hill Pottery Works on Westport Road. The bay window and entrance porch are more recent additions. It became a County Technical School in 1948, later a Teachers' Centre and home to the School of Art.
