Description:Albany Pottery was on Moorland Road opposite Burslem Park and just up from Burslem Station. The neighbouring house is named "Park Lea". The site has been redeveloped.

Gibson & Sons were manufacturers of earthenware, particularly teapots. Between 1907 and 1908 they manufactured the largest teapot in the world, capable of holding over 1000 cups of tea. From 1885 until 1965 they occupied the newly built Albany Pottery until moving out to smaller premises. Gibson's had links with Robert Sudlow and their name is over the far entrance sign. Sudlow also operated the Adelaide Works in Burslem.
