Date:November 1963

Description:Looking south west down Greenhead Street from the BycarsRoad/Scotia Road crossroads. Scotia Road runs from right to left, Bycars Road is behind the camera. On the extreme left hand side was the site of The Scotia Pottery Works, belonging to Alcock, Lindley & Bloore, demolished in the 1950s and a petrol station when the photograph was taken. The chimney beyond belongs to The Overhouse Works of Royal Stafford. The chimney however has been reduced to roof top heght.

Opposite, the Rootes Group garage belonged to T Caddy & Sons. Now demolished and the land used for housing.
