Date:February 1964

Description:The camera is at the north end of Scotia Road, looking south east. The bottle oven on the right hand side of the road is part of Pinnox Tile Works. Bert Bentley noted the two houses on the right as numbers 295 & 297, with Woodland Street running off to the right. The view today is much changed with roundabouts on Scotia Road. To the left would have been the goods yards close to Tunstall Station. Faintly in the distance are what look like the floodlight pylons of Port Vale's ground in Burslem.
