Description:The camera is looking along Lascelles Street from the corner of High Street in Tunstall. Lascelles Street was known as Victoria Terrace until the 1950s and was Brewery Street before that. The large building in the centre of the photograph is the old Brewery. Down at the bottom is the Methodist New Connexion Chapel built in 1857. With redevelopment in Tunstall, his side of Lascelles Street is much changed: only the building on the extreme left still stands.
