Date:June 1965

Description:Looking over "Crosswinds" bungalow south west from the higher ground of Stockton Brook. The chimney in the left centre (now demolished) belonged to Stockton Brook water Pumping Station and the waste tip on the horizon belonged to Norton Colliery. The Stoke to Leek branch can just be seen curving between these two landmarks. The buildings on the horizon to the right of the waste tip are along Norton Lane.
