Description:A view south east from the Primrose Hill area of Hanford. Almost in the centre is the "A frame" head gear and pit head buildings of Hem Heath colliery, now demolished. This is now part of the Trentham Trade and Technology Park. To the right of the colliery is Blurton. In the far distance, on the horizon is the higher ground of Cocknage Wood. On the extreme left edge of the photograph are the spoil heaps of the Stafford Colliery at Sideway.
