Date:June 1964

Description:A view south along Prince's Road from its junction with Queen's Road in Hartshill. On the right hand side are the buildings of the Royal Infirmary, with a short row of terraced houses between the two lampposts. Princes Road dates from the 1850s although the houses at this end are late 19th century. Are the crowd of people (seemingly mainly women) hospital visitors or have they come from Hartshill Church, which is just behind the camera?
