Description:Looking west along Woodhead Road towards the River Trent valley with Birches Head beyond. On the right are is the site of some post 1945 prefabricated bungalows now rebuilt and modernised. Behind the bungalows is the southern edge of Carmountside cemetery and crematorium. To the immediate left is Carmountside Primary School.
