Description:A view north along Freemantle Road from its junction with London Road. Off to the right is a Worthington Brewery tanker delivering to the corner public house, The Oak Tree. To the left, hidden by the trees, is an electricity sub station. The tree lined road was completed by 1937: part of a large inter war council housing scheme.

Young boys out on their (?Hercules) bicycles were much more common in the 1960s than today.
